Out of interest, having spent a fair amount of time in the DfE, what are your thoughts on the variety of plans the new government has proposed (Children's' Wellbeing and Schools Bill, VAT on Private Schools, Curriculum Review etc)? The changes seem reasonably far reaching, yet steer clear of the major issues of teacher recruitment and retention, SEND provision and the non-attendance epidemic.
